For 2019 These routes have now been updated to use our Trailforks versions please see the newer post here.
The HRB Committee has the honor to present to you a few proposed shuttle runs along the Post Canyon Area. Follow the links we share along this post, which will take you to our Wikiloc profile page. There you can view detailed info about the ride, browse the map for access to the drop off points, and download the GPX files to navigate you through your ride!
What are you waiting for? Pack up your ride with bikes and a few buddies, and get your butt up to any of the access points we provide below:
Family man Staging area is located half way through Post Canyon Mountain Bike trail system. There you will find short loops which begin and end there, a pump track, skinnies, obstacle courses and more. It's a neat area to set up camp and hang out!
You can keep climbing up to higher elevations, transfer to Mitchell Ridge, or blast down Middle School, Float on, Kleeway, and back to town. Be aware of some of the bigger jumps and obstacles that some of these trails have to offer.
This shuttle run starts at the Binns Hill Staging area at 2300'. There are several ways to get back to Hood River from here. Our Binns Hill proposed shuttle involves steep technical riding with hips and drops along the way. Although there are equally thrilling options at varying levels of skill. Grab someone here at HRB and we will guide you through our maps.
Drop off at Kingsley Reservoir Staging Area. Cross the path between the two reservoirs and gain access to the dirt roads that climb up to 3500'. There are also multiple ways to head down from there. Feel free to explore through the trails that will easily take you to the highest elevations on the trail system. Enjoy the remoteness!
Remember Guys, Hood River Bicycles has some shuttle services going on. Make the reservation online, give us a call or drop by. We will sort you out with all the necessary to get some good riding down Post Canyon.
